Grateful for a thoughtful conversation with the Merrimac Democratic Town Committee about two of the most urgent issues we’re facing: affordability and saving our democracy. From housing and everyday costs to protecting voting rights and rebuilding trust in our institutions, it was clear how deeply people here care about the future of our country and community.

After seven years in the State Legislature, I know real progress starts by listening and showing up. Thank you to the Merrimac Dems for the warm welcome, the honest questions, and the shared commitment to doing the hard work our democracy requires.

Last month, I found out my mother’s health care premium had jumped from $4 a month last year to $235 this year.
