It was a successful hunt! 🍄

Folks had a fun time finding Morels and learning about other forageable edibles along the trail.

No need to ask where they are at the park.... Only the Naturalist knows.🤫

We hope to host the program again next year and hopefully you can join us.

🌳 Happy Little Trees 5k was a success! Thanks to Friends of Pymatuning State Park.( Ohio) for donating the Ohio Buckeye trees for our America 250 planting dedication in partnership with the Ashtabula County Master Gardeners’ “Plant 250” initiative.

Of course this also would not have been possible without the support from all of our 5k participants! 🏃‍♂️💨 Lots of familiar faces from last year and new faces we hope to see next year!

The top 4 place winners got to take home prizes which consisted of an Ohio Buckeye and flowering dogwood trees. All other participants were gifted milkweed seeds!
