Cora Hicks!

Cora has played piano since she was a 1st grader, in 5th grade she began playing percussion at Andover Central. She plays in various ensembles across town including Wichita Wind Ensemble and the Delano Orchestra.

We're excited to share that our very own voice instructor, Brenna Welch, has sent in an audition tape for the KWCH Star Spangled Banner Singing Competition!

The competition takes place in two stages: Regional and National. During the Regional stage, winners are determined by public vote, and supporters can vote once per day until June 12th.

The winner will receive a trip to Nashville to have their rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner professionally recorded and aired across the country.

Over the course of one week, students will:

Music Scene’s pop/rock band Scene Six is looking for 1–2 singers (ages 11–16) to join an awesome group of musicians!

This band has been working hard and is already playing 6 songs — they sound great and just need the right voice (or voices!) to bring everything together 🎶🔥
