It was a Joy to cook with this fun group of people. They came in as strangers and left as friends! I love when the experience of my cooking class gets people to connect with each other too. The energy and enthusiasm was great. I am grateful to everyone for being flexible to reschedule because of my issues and conflicts. πππππ₯³

It was a pleasure to cook with these two for a delayed Valentine's day celebration. We had to postpone the class a couple times. Third time is the charm. It was the worth the wait and worth it to feel good to enjoy the class. It makes me very happy when I have young couples want to learn to cook. Cheering for them .

What do you feel like....? How much do you want to add...? If you have attended my classes you have heard these questions from me... :)) The most important ingredient you add to any dish is love. One spreads the love, energy, happiness, one feels through food. It is indeed easy to get compliments by feeding people. Come and learn more about it at my class at www.ezcompliments.com

Late Post: This was the last class of the February session. The past month the focus was to learn to add lentils in our meals....each week we used the same lentil to cook a different dish. So we had to make the queen of lentil soups Dal Makhani. In Indian cuisine we have to have sides with rice and lentils, so this last week we added greens - spinach and peas to make patties, and a side of thinly sliced potatoes with cumin seeds, mustard seeds and garlic. The smiles say it all. The dishes were easy, super delicious and made with love healthy!! Thank you all - my veteran guests and new young adults for cooking along with me for the month. Keep cooking and come back when you are ready to learn more. πππππ₯³

Did you know that the word 'Curry' just means that the dish has a gravy/sauce in Indian cuisine. This herb (pictured below with its health benefits) is called a curry leaf; it is generously used in Indian cooking to season dishes. Learn Indian cooking with me at www.ezcompliments.com

We continue to celebrate Christmas in my classes as my guests redeem their gift cards. Thank you to everyone who found me and chose to buy my gift cards for their families and friends who enjoy Indian cuisine. Clearly, its a gift that brings a lot of joy for the recipients with an evening of learning, cooking, socializing and eating all the delicious food prepared. My favorite part is always the part when people share their stories of their experiences while we sit down to enjoy our meal together. It's easy to get and share compliments with food. :)

In Indian cooking we often finish the cooking with a tadka (tempering) with ghee/oil/ fat. Its a step where one heats ghee/oil and adds more seasonings into it and then pour it over the cooked dish. one often sees this process in dishes like dals or chutneys and even other dishes. It's an important process of cooking - please don't skip it for best tastes of the dish. Learn Indian cooking at my classes. Register for one at www.ezcompliments.com

The sisters get together every year for a weekend!! I was honored that they chose my class for an activity to have fun and came prepared with custom aprons. It was a joy to cook with the lovely ladies and share my cooking. Cheering for their sister bonds and hoping they will cook with me again from their respective cities/states sometime.ππππ
