The official page for Abbot Cluster, one of Phillips Academy Andover's five clusters. The walk is worth it.
One of the first educational institutions in New England to be founded for girls and women alone, Abbot Academy had by far the longest corporate life of any. It opened its doors to seventy students on May 6, 1829, and endured until those same doors and all the material goods inside them were entrusted to Phillips Academy on June 28, 1973. Today has been the first full day that the Class of 2015 has enjoyed as alumni, and I thought I'd take this opportunity to sign off as the editor of the Abbot Cluster page. It's been an awesome two years serving with the dedicated and passionate members of Cluster Council, running around taking photos, helping organize dinners and AbbCabs, and most importantly, getting to know you wonderful Abbot people. Mrs. Elliott has been a fantastic Cluster Dean whom I have thoroughly enjoyed working with every day, and her next few years as the Dean of Students will be amazing. To the Class of 2016, you and Mr. Parker are going to rock it, and I can't wait to see what you guys do! Have an awesome summer, each and every one of you.

Before the wonderful people of Abbot went off to do their Non Sibi Weekend activities, a munch was held at Stowe with hot chocolate, cookies, s'mores and a station for appreciation notes. See if you can spot yourselves around the open fire!
