Reiten's Maple Syrup

Just wanted to share with you guys some of what it takes to make syrup.
This load is from two black ash trees that have been standing dead for about 2 years - seasoning on the stump.
All of this will be going into the wood pile for 2025 sugaring season.
I appreciate your business & input, and am looking forward to making more maple syrup products for you all in 2025.

Hey folks - we'll be at East Bethel Party in the Park on Saturday, July 20th from 11am to 6pm (possibly later). This event will be held at Booster Park West, 22266 Palisade St. NE in East Bethel. Since we will be the ONLY maple product vendor at this event, I expect to sell out of limited quantity items (hint hint). Free samples will be provided - hope to see you there 🍁

The following products will be available:
Regular maple syrup $12/bottle.
Bourbon infused $16/bottle.
Cinnamon infused $16/bottle (limited quantity).
Vanilla infused $16/bottle (limited quantity).
Maple sugar $20/pint jar (limited quantity).

A few recent custom jobs...

Found some chicken breasts in the fridge, so I whipped this up.
Olive oil, butter, assorted seasonings, a little fire cider for some twang, soy sauce, and maple sugar to caramelize & provide a glaze.

Bottled a case of vanilla bean, and a case of cinnamon stick this morning 😋😋😋
Bourbon will be bottled next weekend 🍁🥃

38 gallons of syrup so far.
Hoping for 45 - it's going to be close, since the trees just told me this afternoon that they're all done providing good sap for this season.
The buds are all proofed out & the sap is starting to taste funky.

V is for vanilla... Bottled up a few this morning with a vanilla bean in each one. Cinnamon next weekend - trying to source some smaller sized cinnamon sticks that are better suited for these bottles.
Bourbon infused soon. It's still in the bourbon barrel, doing its bourbon thing.

Bottled up a few more gallons this morning.
Here's a couple of unconventional bottles for my own personal use - a half pint on the left that was dug up from my grandparent's farm & the bottle on the right used to have scotch from Scotland. The laser engraver did a great job 🍁🍁🍁
