Tech Take Apart Day was great! Thank you to everyone who donated their old electronics for this event. The kids loved discovering what was inside of phones, TVs, and computers and we all loved hearing their joyful noise as they solved problems and found success. 💻😊

Happy birthday, Sophie!! Sophie turns 9 today, so she stopped by the library to ring the story time bell 9 times to celebrate 9 years! 🎂

Exciting news for our Andover Libraries! We received a 2026-27 Rural Library grant from the Children's Literacy Foundation! What does this mean? New children's books for our collection, expanded programming, storytelling sessions with professional authors, book giveaways for local kids, and much more. We can’t wait to share it all with you. 📚❤️

We’re ready for Cereal For Dinner Night: Summer Reading Kickoff tonight! Stop by the Andover Public Library between 4:30-6:30 to eat some delicious cereal and sign up for the summer reading program. You can also check out our prize store to see what you can get in exchange for reading this summer. 📚☀️

AEMS has wrapped up for the year, which means it’s time for summer reading. You can stop by to get your reading tracker at either library during our open hours or attend our Cereal For Dinner Night: Summer Reading Kickoff on Wednesday! You can also check out the prize store at the Andover Public Library, where readers can earn prizes for reading 4, 8, 16, or 24 hours. Happy Saturday, Happy Summer, and Happy Reading! 📚🩷

Congratulations to Opie Allen, who completed the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten reading challenge!! Opie’s brother, Cooper, who finished the challenge last year, actually read him his 1000th book, how cool is that?!

We celebrated Opie’s success with his family and friends today at story time.

Our Airtoobz machine got an upgrade! We added some extra long tubes and new special pieces. Come check it out!
