Barry Prescott has been selected as the Roads and Bridges Department Employee of the Month for June. Throughout his over 13 years with Anderson County, Barry has proven himself to be an exemplary employee. His exceptional leadership skills were showcased when he successfully managed the crew in his supervisor's absence. Barry's can-do attitude and friendly nature have earned him widespread respect. His unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence are truly commendable. Heartfelt congratulations to Barry for this notable achievement.

Shady Agnew has been named the Roads and Bridges Department Employee of the Month for May. With 3 years of service to Anderson County, Shady brings dedication and expertise to her role. Her hard work alongside our GIS administrator and her exemplary composure in high-stress situations have not gone unnoticed. We offer our congratulations to Shady on this outstanding achievement and look forward to her continued contributions.

Our annual Backhoe Rodeo took place today, demonstrating the remarkable abilities of our team members. The top performers were Chris Robinson in first place, Earl Estrich in second place, and Matthew Norton in third place. They will go on to represent Anderson County at the Upstate Rodeo on May 19th in Rock Hill, SC. We congratulate our winners on their achievement.

The Roads and Bridges department got to show off their interesting equipment to K4 through 2nd grader at Nevitt Forest Elementary School today for their Vehicle Day.

Michael Hughes has been named the Roads and Bridges Department Employee of the Month for April. With nearly 5 years of service to Anderson County, Michael consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and dedication to his role on the asphalt crew. His tireless efforts and positive demeanor make him an invaluable asset to our team.
