On October 2, 2025, Barbara Kimich was sworn in as the Grimes County Clerk. She was appointed the replace Vanessa Burzynski who has retired.

When: April 24, 2025 @ 0830 – May 1,2025 @1900 (7pm)
Where: State Highway 30 at the railroad crossing in Shiro
Why: Railroad Track Replacement

Signs will be placed by TXDoT for citizen notification.
