We had a wonderful time last night hosting Skye Peterson and Matt Papa. Thanks to all who came out!

we are keeping the door price the same as the online price, so come join us at 7 PM, tickets are $15, only $10 for New Covenant Church members, New Covenant, school, families, and college students!

During the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, it has been encouraging to see our church body care for one another and the Anderson community. Keep this up! As several members of our church encounter ongoing recovery needs, if you would like to contribute financially to the mercy fund managed by the deacons of our church, you can do so through the NCC app or at https://www.ncchurch.net/giving. The deacons will use these funds to assist needs of church members.



Further, if you would like to contribute broadly to hurricane relief efforts, consider giving or volunteering with Mission to North America (MNA), the domestic missions agency of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Lastly, one of our deacons, Austin Webb, has a team that has been serving up in Western North Carolina this week and has coordinated with a drop-off point for supplies in the region they are helping. Tim Cutliff and Joshua Williams plan to collect resources from our community and transport them up there tomorrow afternoon (Sunday, October 6). If you would like to contribute resources to assist with these local needs, you can bring them to the church today during the day, or drop them off at the concert tonight, or connect directly with Tim or Joshua.

Other supplies that are helpful to a community with limited communications


Continue to pray that God’s glory would be seen in all the world, that his church would be built up, and that his mercy would fall upon those in need. Pray Psalm 121:1–2, “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”

Good Afternoon New Covenant Church!

It has been a delight to see many families have power restored to their homes. Our staff and officers are continuing to lift you all up in prayer and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any more specific needs or prayer requests.

We are excited to say we are a go with Skate night as planned tomorrow from 6-8pm at Skateland USA. A-L last names can bring something Sweet, M-Z bring something Salty.

As of now, we plan on moving forward with our Matt Papa/Skye Peterson concert this Saturday at New Covenant Church. Please continue to pray for power to be restored to our church. We will continue to update you all daily on our plans for the weekend.

I am reminded during these days of discomfort, our hope lies in the one who brings us comfort both in life and in death.

Good Afternoon Church Family,

Please know that New Covenant Church is still without power despite several of our church campus neighbors having their power restored. Our church facility gets its power from the backside, not the front.

Therefore, the church elders, deacons and staff have all agreed it is best to cancel all scheduled activities on our campus through Thursday morning. This includes the following events:
New Covenant School
Women's and Men's Bible Studies
RUF and College meetings
DAWN and TRUE

*A possible exception is that of Skate Night on Wednesday from 6-8, as of now this event is ON - if this changes, we will let everyone know as soon as possible.

**Also, Matt Papa Concert is ON and will send updates if this changes as well.

Regarding this coming Sabbath, we will communicate later in the week so you know what Worship will entail. We thank you all for your patience and prayers.
