Weather permitting, daytime work is set to begin on Brown Road. This work includes the remaining median lane between Liberty Highway and Walmart Drive and will continue north. Lane Closures/Flagging operations are restricted between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.

The first meeting of 2024 will be March 4th. Please note that this meeting will be in person only and will not have an online option. Have a safe and happy New Year!

ACTC 131: King Asphalt will be patching on North Street today 10/2 from 81 to Gossett.

Anderson County and GPATS is conducting a study of the Highway 81 corridor from the Wren School Rd/Lake Rd intersection to the Powdersville Main/ Piedmont Rd intersection. Anderson County requests comments along this section of Highway 81. To make a comment, please visit the wiki map here: https://wikimapping.com/SC-Highway-81-Corridor-Study.html. A public drop-in meeting is scheduled to be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 5 pm to 7pm at Wren Middle School, located at 1010 Wren School Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673.


Anderson County Public Works

The January 2023 meeting has been moved to February 6, 2023

County offices will be closed Thursday & Friday, November 24-25, 2022 in observance of Thanksgiving.

All convenience centers, the MRF, and the Starr C&D Landfill will be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

The next meeting of the ACTC is October 17, 2022
