I have realized that Facebook/social media has been a huge distraction in our home. Not only for myself. But others. A few months back I deleted the app and went 60 days without it. On the 2nd day I felt so much better. Literally the 2nd day!! I always felt like it was a positive thing for me since my family lives thousands of miles away and I try to not involve myself in drama. After not having it I realize how distracting it was and how much of day it stole from me and my family. Evenings when I was exhausted it was the "perfect" way to check out.

Amazing!!! First of all a hugeeeee THANK YOU to Faye Jolley, Ashley Woodruff, Maddie Elizabeth, Dorsett Clement, Bryan Burleson, Phil (Cat Daddy), April Davenport Charping and Kieth, Michael Grooms and Tracy, Mauldin Pub as well as the fast response from Mauldin Police department and Fire and Rescue!! Anna Lee and her amazing husband blessed us tonight and took us way up over what we expected today!! They pledged to match anything we raised for the day but when that time came they did more than match they matched and added a couple on top!! Thank you, thank you!

This may be small to some folks, but what we have accomplished each year for 3 years in a row now is breath taking and amazing to me. To see people from all walks of life come together for one common purpose and to support each other and raise this money to help people they will probably never see or shake hands with...that is the greatest gift of all. Each and every person who even donates 1 dollar, helps one more person have a chance at a life the way we all were made and meant to.

Who ever reported my Non Profit page 4 times yesterday for sad or misleading info...I hope you feel better soon and things look.up for you. But being mad or awful towards others won't help that. It will make you feel worse.
