Motley Crew Bakery is Anchorage's most purposeful bakery, and one of its most delicious. A social enterprise of Bean's Cafe, we craft handmade baked goods, soups, and catering with genuine care, while providing life and workforce skills to individuals rebuilding their lives.

Here in Alaska, summer doesn't mean a break from hunger. 🌄

For many of our neighbors, school's out — and so is their most reliable meal. Bean's Cafe keeps the doors open, the kitchen running, and the community fed 365 days a year.

What does a second chance look like in Anchorage?

For many participants in our Streets to Success program, it looks like a job offer. A stable address. The confidence to walk into a room and say: "I'm ready."

Streets to Success connects individuals experiencing homelessness with employment readiness training, job placement support, and the community they need to move forward — with dignity.

This work is made possible by people like you — donors, volunteers, and partners who believe that everyone deserves a path forward.

In Anchorage, the last day of school is May 21st — and for many children, that means losing access to the reliable meals they depend on during the school year. 📚➡️☀️The Children's Lunchbox is here to bridge that gap. Every summer, we work to ensure kids in our community don't go hungry when school cafeterias close. Last year, we brought our food truck directly to Mountain View Recreation Center — because no child should have to wonder where dinner is coming from. We're still finalizing our summer plans, but one thing is certain: we'll be there for Anchorage kids.
