Parlor is a songwriter showcase with an improv twist! The Mountain State has its Stage and the Prairie Home, its Companion. Silence is one of them.

This concert season Alaskans will gather at Parlor In The Round. Borrowing from the guitar pull tradition of porches and campfires, songwriters from all walks of Alaskan life (and some beyond) will trade songs and stories as they are inspired by each other and the audience. After the intermission, tradition is cast aside as the musicians dive into collaborations, jocular inventions and premeditated

Is Jesse Ruben ? Both mission-driven dudes, both chose gratitude in the face of life altering adversity, both drove snakes out of Ireland…ok, well Jesse drives cynicism right out of the smug little hearts of indie fans. Come to Nonna’s, decide for yourself.

Welp, we outdid ourselves with this lineup. Crooner Folk, Anxiety-Rock, and indie ukulele is a whole vibe. Jesse Ruben made fans around the country after his appreance on and through the 60 Million spins on his latest single - so we know they’ll be out to ring in his Alaska debut. SJLG fans unite over her songs that go like a broken-stick bottle rocket at a midnight poetry slam. .tatellgaq.rose brings us albatross along with her fans to explore small, inside thoughts through fractal stroll strumming.

As always, tix are at website or in our bio. We’ll see you on Thursday 3/19

is a rare gem in any city? But it is precious to Anchorage. The venue is a part of the performance with local art busting from the walls and the lights of downtown winking in through the windows. During last years fireworks, had us wrapped with her wry wit and razor sharp honesty. We’ve so enjoyed our partnership with the Cove because we get to hear full sets from the incredible artists who we bring to Alaska each month. This Wednesday, is brining her concert hall performance to this magic room. DM for ticket reservations.
