Our Position on DEI for PRSA and PRSSA Members
Feb. 10, 2025

Dear PRSA and PRSSA Members,

At the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is unwavering. In recent years, DEI initiatives have become vastly criticized and often weaponized, leading to confusion among the general public. This has resulted in companies and organizations reconsidering or even retreating from their commitments due to shifting political and social pressures. Despite these challenges, PRSA remains steadfast in our belief that DEI is not a passing trend — it is fundamental to the future of public relations, business and society.

We love doing small promotional projects for our client, Senior Voice.

Interested in reading more about bird topics? Then you need a subscription to Senior Voice, Alaska’s statewide newspaper covering issues of interest to Alaskans age 50 or over. This year, Senior Voice has started running a quarterly birding column, written by staff and volunteers of the Bird Treatment & Learning Center. February’s column offered an overview of Bird TLC operations and details about a recent patient, a short-eared owl. In May, Ornithologist and Bird TLC Volunteer Lisa Pajot discussed the amazing migration of 300 species of birds that come to Alaska each spring from six different continents. Future columns will discuss birds of prey, Alaska’s owls and an overview of the birds that stay in Alaska in the winter and how they cope with the cold. To subscribe to the Senior Voice, visit www.seniorvoicealaska.com and click on the “Subscribe” button on the upper right section of the Home page.
