I wonder how many pilots are also HAM Radio operators?
After getting an aviation handheld radio that has VOR and Air Communication channels, it also broadcasts ham 2 Meter transmit and receive frequencies for Amateur Radio use. This spurred my interest enough to take the FCC test, pass, and receive my Technician license with call sign KL2AN in 2006.
