Saturday afternoon, Rising Tide Alaska hosted the local water solitary action. Alaskans came out to say "Shell No!" We stood along side thousands of others around the country venting their rage at sHELL's shameful quest for oil in the Arctic Chukchi & Beaufort Seas. If sHELL receives approval on their pending Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) permits, there is a 75% chance a spill of 1,000 barrels of oil, or more will spill in the 30 year development period of their leases. A spill will destroy Arctic waters that nourish polar bears, walruses, Alaskan Native Peoples, and our whole planet Earth. What happens in the Arctic ripples out to effect all our ya Earth beings.
Many Blessings to everyone standing up to shout, "sHELL No!"
