Remember to apply for your PFD before the March 31st deadline!

There will be no bus service tomorrow, Monday, March 2, 2026, in Regions 1–5 and Region 6 special education routes, due to a labor dispute between our bus contractor, Durham School Services and the Teamsters.

This disruption affects all Durham-operated transportation, including special education bussing in Regions 1-5 & 6.

This disruption does not affect:

• Region 7, Glacier View
• Regular education routes in Region 6, including Talkeetna Elementary, Trapper Creek Elementary, Willow Elementary, and Su-Valley Jr./Sr. High

All schools will remain open, and classes will continue as scheduled.

Monday, March 2, 2026, is a normal Monday PLC schedule. Please refer to your school’s Monday start times and pick-up and drop-off procedures.

If traffic patterns at your child’s school are modified, the school will communicate that information directly.
