Today, San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools Nancy Magee announced she will not run for re-election next year.

“Education is a civil right and a cornerstone of our democracy,” said Magee. “My goal for the remainder of my term is to do my absolute best for our students, our schools, our partners, and our organization to keep moving strongly forward together."

What is the United for Youth: Vision 2030 Plan?

It is a countywide vision to address our youth's growing behavioral health challenges. The plan revolves around five key priorities that enhance behavioral health services and uplift those in need.

Over the next six years, public and private organizations serving youth in San Mateo County will use the plan to collaborate and align their services to better serve youth.
