The wait is finally over. Red Reign is thrilled to officially announce the newest addition to our musical family: Mike Nagy.

After searching for someone who truly shared our vision and work ethic, we knew we found the perfect fit the moment we jammed together. Mike brings an incredible energy to the group, alongside a rich musical background on bass.

Before joining us, Mike played in numerous cover bands that played throughout Northeast Ohio and Western PA. He also joined an original hard rock band, Love and War, that made quite a bit of noise in the early 90’s in the same region. They played some of the biggest stages in the area for over 4 years including the Akron and Cleveland Agora’s, as well as opening for legendary KISS drummer Peter Criss on his solo tour

In 2015, Love and War reunited as The Apocalyptic Lovers and recorded an album that ended up being mixed by legendary record producer/engineer Michael Wagener. The release of this album and the attention it garnered led to an opening slot at the world famous Whisky a Go Go for 80’s legends Dokken.

In Mike’s words: it is a huge honor for me to take over for my friend Larry in Red Reign. I look forward to representing the legacy of Larry’s bass lines on their first 2 releases while adding some of my own style and personality to the music. Also, I can’t wait to see and meet all the Red Reign fans on the road!!

Thank you Mike and let’s all give him a warm welcome: You will be able to see the new line up:

Hello Everyone,
After an unbelievable 13 year run of supporting and touring with some of the biggest musical acts, our brother Larry Moore has made the life changing decision of retiring professionally.

After a few discussions with Larry, he has also made the decision to step away from the band due to the level of work, rehearsing, and traveling required. Below, Larry expressed his feelings.

"Most musicians don't get to go out on their own terms, and that's exactly what I wanted to do. "It’s been a long fun ride, and while I am going to miss it, it’s time to turn the page. I wish nothing but the best for my Red Reign Brothers.”

Red Reign is and has always been a group effort and Larry’s contributions cannot be overstated, and we are so thankful for the years and brotherhood we had together.

The band has been fully prepared and have been working with our new bass player for a few months. These are hard shoes to fill, but we feel like we found the right person for the job. So, as we move into the next phase, we will be announcing our newest member of the band next week.

Larry, we want to thank you for all the incredible adventures and years of fun, laughter, friendship, and lasting memories as we could not have done this without you. We wish you and Debbie a long, healthy, and happy retirement.

Bubba, Stevie and Sammy
