The Roswell Cab Mic is a large-diaphragm condenser designed and voiced specifically for recording electric guitar. It eliminates the challenge of positioning the mic for best tone. It eliminates the need for a second mic. It eliminates comb filtering, phase problems, and most EQ. Just park it 6 inches out from the center of the dust cap, and press record.

We had a happy surprise earlier this week when Paul Drew dropped a review video for the Roswell Cab Mic. Here’s an excerpt. See the full vid on Youtube — link in description.

The Cab Mic is a large diaphragm condenser voiced and designed specifically for single-mic recording of electric guitar. It will take 120+dB without clipping the mic and without clipping your preamp. It’s dead simple to position: center it on the dust cap. No need to micro-adjust position. No need to EQ. One mic, one stand, one channel, then get back to making music!
