Happy Career and Technical Education Month from AUHSD! Today we are featuring students from our Biotechnology Pathway at Oxford Academy. For her capstone project in Mr. Cuenca's class, student Susan Tran decided to create a service-based company that aims to alleviate some of the needs of essential workers in the community. With her sister Katie, she worked to make masks and hand sanitizers and donated them to police officers two years ago. This year she is expanding her mission by integrating her product-making knowledge with company-planning skills to meet the needs of residents and staff of long term health facilities, behavioral health facilities, rehabilitation facilities, and/or homeless shelters.
