This is a great spot to watch as the rollercoaster takes off. It’s actually a very smooth ride and super fun. If you have a little one who’s not tall enough or ready to ride you can watch from here and then do a rider swap.
Rider swap means your party splits up and one adult waits with the child who’s not able to ride. You let the cast member know you are interested in a rider swap and show them your situation. Usually the first group will board for example: dad and older kid ride while mom and younger child wait. When they get off mom gets to ride and older child gets to go again through the lightening lane for a quick wait time. It’s a really nice thing Disney does to accommodate when height or nerves are an issue.

We love the Jungle Cruise, but this section can really catch you off guard if you’re not prepared. It’s hard to hear them with 70 year old speakers🤣 but look for the hippos coming out of the water and it’ll make the ride fun. Many people get really startled during this moment but being prepared keeps it fun.
