Street Tree Revival
We save the trees we can from ending up in landfills and turn them into usable lumber for people to
Out here at Bowman, it’s all part of the cycle.
Some trees become slabs, some trees become mulch, and every part gets used.
We sort by species, cut things down to size, wax the ends, and stack 'em up. Some logs aren’t right for lumber, so we turn them into mulch.
And mulch is great. It helps build better soil.
Like Mama always said, healthy soils, healthy souls.
Just in: Beautiful red fir 2x10s, clean, straight, and still warm off the mill.

Come get it while it’s hot.
For every tree we remove, trying to plant two trees for the future. At West Coast Arborist, we practice right tree, right place. In the past, people didn't really think about what trees they were planting, and a lot of those trees did break up sidewalks. And, you know, as they grow, they're living things.
They need space. I have a daughter, and working here at West Coast Arborist, I get to show her how important it is to take care of our environment, take care of our planet.
Even though a tree may look healthy because it has green leaves, the trunk might be decayed. So a lot of this wood that you see around the room, they got weak. So the chances of those trees falling and breaking are higher.
Out here in our Stockton warehouse, where the magic starts. 🌲
This is our pre-drying shed. It has low wind, great airflow, and is the perfect spot for our slabs to take a slow, deep breath before heading to the kiln.
Good wood takes time. And we’ve got patience in spades.
