1 on 1 training
Your journey is not supposed to look like hers.
There will always be someone throwing harder, getting more innings, getting more attention, or reaching a goal before you do. There may even be people along the way who don’t see in you what you see in yourself.
Don’t let that change how you see YOU.
One coach’s opinion does not determine your value. A spot on a depth chart does not determine your potential. And someone else’s success does not mean you are falling behind.
Keep working. Keep learning. Keep showing up for yourself.
Confidence can’t always come from the people around you. Sometimes you have to build it within yourself, especially during the seasons when no one else is giving it to you.
Stay focused on YOUR journey.

The excitement of receiving an offer can make it feel like you need to commit right away, but everything has a way of working out the way it’s meant to. Finding the place that truly feels like home is what matters most.
I’m so proud of you for trusting the process and making the decision that was right for you. Congratulations on your commitment to Duke University! Your hard work, perseverance, and belief in yourself have opened an incredible door, and I can’t wait to watch you continue chasing your dreams.
The best is yet to come. 💙
The rise ball isn’t magic! It’s mechanics, intent, and reps.
Today’s session was all about helping this younger pitcher understand what creates an effective rise ball, not just throw it and hope.
We broke it down:
✔️Driving the body forward and getting the hips out front
✔️Staying more inside the ball
✔️Keeping the arm path compact and the wrist low
✔️Learning to feel the rip off the seam for cleaner spin
We’re not chasing perfection. We’re building awareness, feel, and efficient movement patterns. You’ll see her arm pull up on one of them and then the next rep you’ll see her hand stays lower with her wrist down more by her hip. It takes practice and time.
Because when a pitcher understands how to create the spin, the rise starts taking care of itself. 😀

I am so proud to be part of your journey, and your entire Code Red family is proud of you as well. Keep dominating, keep growing, and keep making your mark.
You do not need to be perfect to get better. You need to be consistent.
The pitchers who make the biggest progress are not always the ones doing everything perfectly. They are the ones showing up over and over again.
