Check out this custom twin engine, Tier 4, Atlas Copco one megawatt generator from Power Plus.
Systems like this are massive commitments for most companies. They require engineering, fabrication, redundancy planning, fuel system design, DEF capacity management, cable storage solutions, and space for transformers and panels. It is a complex build that has to run safely, efficiently, and for long stretches under real demand.
This generator uses twin 500 kilowatt engines that can run independently for redundant power at 500 kilowatts or together for a full one megawatt. And with the ability to parallel multiple units, the system can scale all the way to sixteen megawatts.
For most companies, a project like this is a major achievement. For us, it is the work we love and just another Thursday at Power Plus.
A backup generator starting successfully does not tell you whether it can carry your facility through an outage.
That is what load bank testing proves. Power Plus puts your backup generator under controlled, real world demand to verify capacity, confirm performance, burn off carbon buildup, and identify potential issues before they lead to downtime.
Backup generators cannot just sit idle and be expected to perform flawlessly in an emergency. That is why you must test the system before you have to depend on it.
When a senior living facility needed its main electrical panel upgraded, the building had to come off utility power for more than a month. Power Plus deployed two 700 kW generators and a complete temporary distribution system to carry the entire facility while the work was completed.
Anyone can deliver a generator. Keeping an entire building powered continuously for weeks takes the right equipment, careful planning, proper distribution, and a team that knows how to execute. That is why facilities trust Power Plus when temporary power has to perform like permanent power.
We were the first ones on this job site. Today, we're the last ones out.
This residential community in Irvine, CA is finished, tied into the grid, and full of new homes — which means our temporary power poles have done their job, and it's time to bring them down.
Power Plus is the permanent solution for your temporary power needs.
Security cameras by themselves can only do so much. They can record your equipment getting stolen, but too often you do not see the footage until the next day, after the damage is already done.
That is where Power Plus DVS changes the equation.
The moment suspicious activity is detected, our US based monitoring team can respond in real time over live audio. “You in the blue hoodie, you are being watched. Police are on the way.”
Now the intruder knows someone is watching and taking action. You do not just want cameras that record the crime. You want a team that can intervene while it is happening and help protect your property and equipment.
Introducing the Power Plus E-Tank.
It's a large-capacity battery paired with solar panels, producing 60 amps at 240 volts of pure clean power — zero emissions, and silent.
No diesel rumble, no exhaust, and it fits into spots our bigger trailer-mounted generators can't be moved into. For smaller loads it can run completely off solar, or work as a hybrid setup when the job demands more. This one unit has endless applications and yes, we've got a whole fleet of them. hashtag

Before construction can really begin, someone has to bring the power, and that is often Power Plus.
We are frequently one of the first teams on a job site, setting up temporary power safely and efficiently so crews can get to work. From there, we stay involved as the project evolves, adjusting the power solution through every phase of construction all the way to the final punch list.

This is a great LinkedIn post from Helio G our East Coast Operations Manager:
Field time builds real-world skills.
Classroom time builds the foundation that makes those skills sharper, safer, and more consistent.
At Power Plus, our rental department technicians prove this every day. Whether they’re deploying generators on a construction site, performing maintenance in the shop, or troubleshooting under pressure, the best results come when hands-on experience is paired with structured learning.
Classroom training gives our techs the why behind the how — deeper understanding of systems, safety protocols, diagnostics, and best practices that field time alone can’t fully deliver. That combination is what lets them show up prepared, solve problems faster, and keep power flowing for our customers.
Shout-out to the rental department techs who keep investing in both sides of the equation. You make the difference.
