PB & Jams performed for us at lunch today! Mr.Yamasaki on bass. Mrs.Truong on guitar and vocals. And Ms.Burns on vocals. What a treat!! Thank you!!
Teachers were not going out on a tie from the first game. Rematch successful! Teachers got the W and some bumps n bruises! 🤣 Thank you to STUCO, Mrs.G, and Mr.Hernandez for making this happen! 🙌🏽Thank you to the students and staff who stepped up for some fun! 🥳Core memories were made!
A big shout-out and a huge thank you to all of our families that have been engaged and committed to their child’s success this year!
Students in the 7th grade science department recently explored the harmful effects plastics have on our environment. Students were shocked to learn how long plastics and microplastics take to break down, especially that single-use plastic straws can take nearly 200 years to decompose. They also learned how animals often mistake plastic for food, causing serious harm to wildlife and ecosystems.
Using the knowledge they’ve gained, students are now creating projects to spread awareness by designing informational posters and repurposing plastics into new creations. We are so proud of our students for using science to inspire change and help protect our planet! 🌎♻️
