So proud of our students, showcasing their principal song “The Moment” at the USA 250 Songwriters Awards Ceremony and workshop at the Orange County Department of Education. They were among only 6 schools as County Finalists, the only AUHSD school, and the only continuation school. We have exciting news, El Mercadito will be reopening at a temporary location starting Wednesday, June 10th

Our hours will be from 12:30pm- 1:30 pm EVERY Wednesday from June until July

We are excited to welcome all families back and continue to provide access to fresh food and pantry items to our community. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time please stop by and take advantage of the valuable resource.

To receive food new families must scan the QR code above and make an account as well as book an appointment. Returning families must scan the QR code and book an appointment in order to receive services.

🍽️💛 8th Annual Hunger Drive 💛🍽️
Gilbert High School is hosting our Hunger Drive on Thursday, Jan. 29 | 6:00–7:30 PM!
We’re partnering with No Kid Hungry to fight hunger in our community. Enjoy a free dinner, backpacks, raffle prizes (bring pantry items!), and a family-friendly night of giving back.
✨ Bonus: Students can earn community service hours during Servathon week!

Pedagogy of Voice! We had a great time co-designing what future learning looks like in Alt Ed yesterday. Humility, listening and learning with students and staff are required.

El Mercadito has updated its day’s and times!
It will now be open Wednesdays from 9:00–11:00 AM and Thursdays from 1:30–3:30 PM.
