Weddings are truly the most magical moment. As we grow up we picture our wedding day. The dress, the venue, the wedding colors, the guests and most importantly who will I marry? — a lot of those details change as we grow up.

I always pictured my grandma being there on that magical day. She was the most influential person in my life. I wouldn’t be the person I am without my grandma. She passed away before our wedding day. I was heartbroken at the thought of her not being a part of this special day.

—Days before our wedding, our friends surprised me with a pendant charm with my grandma’s photo so I could attach it to my bouquet.
—On our wedding day, my auntie came into the bridal suite and surprised me with one of my grandma’s rings.
—My friend Marissa was also our wedding planner. Marissa + Steven planned a surprise to reserve a seat for my grandma.

I love that they all made sure my grandma was a part of our wedding, even though she’s in heaven. 🤍
