🌸 Mother’s Day Spotlight 🌸

Today we are celebrating not only an incredible horse show mom, but also a very special “Horse Show Nana” — Patti Davis 💖🐴

Patti is the kind of nana every horse kid dreams of having. She is always there at the horse shows helping wherever she’s needed — whether that means bringing snacks, holding an extra horse, helping with tack changes, or simply being a constant source of love and support throughout the day.

Beyond the arena, Patti and her granddaughter share a special bond and love spending time together traveling and making memories. One unforgettable adventure even included traveling across Europe together!

Through every step of the journey, Patti has remained one of her biggest supporters and an important reason she’s able to continue doing what she loves.

💐 “I’m so grateful to have her for her support and love throughout everything I do!” 💐

🌸 Mother’s Day Spotlight 🌸

Today we are celebrating an amazing horse show mom and horsewoman — Shannon Blumenreich 💖🐴

Shannon is the reason her daughter has been involved in riding and showing horses her entire life, always serving as her biggest supporter and the very definition of a horse show mom.

Growing up on her father’s horse farm, Shannon spent her childhood and college years showing horses and building a lifelong passion for the equine world. After years devoted to supporting from the sidelines, she has recently stepped back into the show ring herself in the ranch classes — making it incredibly special to now share the experience of showing together as mother and daughter.

Outside of the arena, Shannon manages her own boarding facility where she is loved by both the horses and the people she cares for every day. Whether offering advice, encouragement, understanding, or positivity, she is a constant source of support to everyone around her.

💐 “I am so thankful for her, both at the shows and every day.” 💐

Happy Mother’s Day, Shannon! Thank you for the love, guidance, and passion you bring to the horse community and your family every single day. ❤️

“Happy Mother’s Day to the moms behind the scenes and in the stands.

From early mornings at the barn to late nights helping with homework… from hauling horses to holding families together… you’re the reason so many of these kids get to chase their dreams in and out of the arena.

You run the farm. You manage the chaos. You cheer the loudest. And somehow, you still make time to create the moments your kids will remember forever.

Today is all about you.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at the American Ranch Horse Association! 🤍

Thank you Rebecca Beatty for creating this video!

Today we are excited to celebrate an incredible ARHA mom — Debby Cohen 💖🐴

Written by her daughter, Kayla Cohen:

My mom is not only my biggest supporter, but also a true supporter of the entire ARHA community. Whether she’s cheering on fellow exhibitors, encouraging riders, or putting in countless hours behind the scenes, she always brings positivity, kindness, and dedication everywhere she goes.

Showing together with the American Ranch Horse Association in Florida has created so many special memories for our family. Her horse, Gunners Little Fleet (“Gunner”), has helped build her confidence and shaped her into the rider she is today. Watching her grow through every ride, every challenge, and every personal goal has made me incredibly proud.

From local Florida Ranch Horse shows to competing at the World Show level, Debby continues to inspire those around her with her determination, heart, and love for the sport.

Some of Kayla’s favorite memories include horse show weekends together, dinners after long days at the arena, late nights laughing in the camper, and road trips to the shows listening to her mom talk about being nervous and excited — even after more than six years of showing together.

❤️ “I’m beyond thankful to share this journey with my mom, both in and out of the show pen. Happy Mother’s Day to the best teammate, role model, and friend I could ever ask for.” ❤️
— Love, Kayla

💐 Happy Mother’s Day, Debby! Thank you for the positivity, encouragement, and love you bring to the ARHA family. 💐

Today we’re celebrating an incredible horsewoman and show mom — Jennifer 💖🐴

Jennifer has had a passion for horses since she was a child and has proudly been showing with ARHA since 2004. Along with being an amazing mother, she has earned the title of “show mom” to so many in the ranch horse community. From kids to adults, there are countless people who have turned to Jennifer for help, guidance, and support over the years.

Horses have always been a huge part of her life, and her barn family has become a close second to her own family. After growing up in California and leaving much behind, the ranch horse community became an adoptive family — one filled with friendship, support, and unforgettable memories.

Jennifer’s kind heart especially shines through with the young horses she works with, always showing patience and care. Through all the years of traveling and showing, some of the best memories have been made at the Miller in Murfreesboro — moments that will never be forgotten.

She is a strong, hardworking woman with a heart for helping others, and someone many people admire and learn from… even if she has to say, “just one more time.” 💜

🌸 Mother’s Day Spotlight 🌸

Today we’re celebrating a true powerhouse in the ranch horse community — Colleen Martin 💖🐴

Written by her daughter, Bailee Martin:

“The shortest term to describe my mom is SUPER WOMAN.”

Show mom, judge, trainer, show manager — if there’s a job to be done, chances are Colleen is already doing it! From serving as the World Show Secretary three times, to judging countless shows, to hosting the Florida Ranch Horse Club shows since 2011, Colleen has dedicated so much of her life to the ranch horse industry and the people in it.

Through it all, she has always made sure her children had every opportunity to show and succeed — making sure they had the right horses, equipment, and support every step of the way.

Bailee shares that while her mom may not be the “typical” show mom zipping up chaps at the gate, she feels incredibly blessed to be showing at events her mom helped create and run. Colleen’s dedication reaches far beyond her own family — she pours her heart into making every event and organization better for everyone involved.

💜 Whether she’s rocking purple hair, hilarious t-shirts, or running an entire horse show behind the scenes, there’s no doubt Colleen Martin is one of a kind. 💜

💐 Thank you, Colleen, for all you do for your family, the exhibitors, and the entire ranch horse community. Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

🌸 Mother’s Day Spotlight 🌸

Today we’re honored to spotlight an incredible horse show mom — Nikki Boyd 💖🐴

Nikki’s journey is one of passion, sacrifice, and rediscovery. After growing up riding horses and dancing — even building a professional dance career in New York and Florida — her world shifted when her son, Matty, was born in 2020. When Matty fell in love with horses, Nikki and her husband made a life-changing decision to move from southeast Florida to southwest Michigan so he could experience the ranch and barn life she once knew growing up in New Mexico.

With that move came a new chapter. Encouraged by her family and gifted one of their horses, Nikki stepped back into the saddle for the first time in 20 years. With courage and heart, she pulled her hat down, took a deep breath, and entered the show ring again — joining her barn family at Ranch Horse Association of Michigan shows.

Beyond the arena, Nikki is a devoted mom, an incredible friend, and a constant source of positivity. She somehow finds time to ride her beloved horse Cinco, support her barn community, and even start a 4-H club for the kids — becoming a mentor and leader to so many. Her kindness and energy make her a light in the lives of everyone around her.

💐 “She is the kind of positive energy you love having around — a true example of a horse show mom. Wishing Nikki the happiest Mother’s Day!” 💐
