Wastewater Treatment Facility projects are some of the most demanding and detail-driven jobs in the controls industry. Elliott Controls is proud to be part of the Milford, NH WWTF upgrade project under Palmer & Sicard as the Mechanical Contractor.
Here are the top things to watch for in WWTF work:
1. C1D1 & C1D2 environments. These facilities can contain explosive conditions, which means controls installations require specialized materials like RGC, PVC-coated rigid, stainless, aluminum, and Robroy conduit and hardware.
2. The specs matter. Unlike many commercial projects, WWTF specifications are written for a reason. Every detail is there to support safety, reliability, and long-term operation in a critical facility.
3. Expect surprises. Existing conduits full of water, broken hand holes, undocumented tanks, and corroded infrastructure are all common. Flexibility and contingency planning are essential.
4. Long project timelines. WWTF projects move in phases over multiple years, requiring close coordination with concrete, steel, and other trades to make sure installations happen at exactly the right time.

Progress is coming along on the Beaver Meadow Golf Course Clubhouse project!
COURSE UPDATES
Progress continues on the parking lot and clubhouse project. Last week, crews began sub-grading the parking lot in preparation to run the final drainage and conduit for light posts to be installed in the future. Construction of the two drainage swales and collection pond has been completed and all areas have been seeded. On the clubhouse all exterior framing is complete and sheathing is on the walls and roof. Crews will be arriving mid-week next week to begin roofing and the windows have been ordered and will be arriving the following week.
Our 2026 season is off to a great start so far, even with some periods of rain and cool temperatures. We are looking forward to summer and more sunny days! ☀
Despite rainy conditions, players still competed in this year’s Red White and Blue Memorial Tournament during Memorial Day weekend, showcasing great sportsmanship, competitive play, and impressive performances throughout the field. After two days of challenging conditions and outstanding golf, the tournament crowned both a Gross Champion and a Net Champion. Our gross champion this year was Andrew Surprenant and Dalton Gordon finishing at an impressive 14 under par for two days. Our net champion this year was Nick and Nate Engel finishing at a score of 17 under par. Congratulations again to our champions and all players who competed. We look forward to another outstanding tournament next year. ⛳
In validated laboratory environments, accurate pressure readings are critical to maintaining compliance, protecting sensitive processes, and ensuring occupant safety. Using a calibrated digital manometer allows our technicians to verify room pressurization and give the Owner confidence that the building automation system is operating exactly as intended.
