Still looks a bit of a mess but it has begun! Strawberries, rhubarb, and 3 kinds of garlic all coming up! Two kinds of potatoes started in the white bins (more to plant!)

My cool find of the day in the garden: It is a little hard to see but this is something I have only read about happening rearly. The three thick stems coming up in this picture are all actually the same tomatoe plant! The main stem is growing along the ground and these three branches have started growing vertically making each one a “main stem” of its own! This plant took a while to establish, and I thought I had killed it when I first planted it outside; but, clearly what didn’t kill it made it stronger!

Spring is finally showing up and soon I’ll be getting plants into the ground, but before that the lady’s are going to work on cleaning up the rest of the garden area for me!

Graded some eggs this morning…

It’s TURKEY TIME! We are processing our turkeys this week! We have 4 turkeys left available, if you haven’t already spoken with me and would like one of our delicious turkeys let me know ASAP. If you would like one fresh I need to know today! Otherwise everything will be frozen. Don’t want to take on one of our 25lbs birds? We also have select cuts available! Whole birds will be $5/lb contact me for cuts and pricing.

OUR FIRST CREAME LEGBAR EGG!!!

I was just thinking we need start adding light to see if we could get them laying in time for spring hatches. I went to the egg box and found this little beauty!

Making a special lunch for the ladies today. There have been some thin shells and egg peckers so time to give them a large protein and calcium boost! Dozen eggs, a few dozen quail egg shells, a little bacon for fat, peas and carrots for color and extra vitamins!

We have 3, 20ish pound turkeys left! They are all frozen so get them this weekend to have them thawed in time for Thanksgiving! PM, or call if interested! These are our own free range pastured turkeys that were raised and processed on our farm! $5/lb
