We have:

• Supported buying more food from local farms
• Organized community cooking and food preservation workshops
• Encouraged our community to invest in edible landscapes
• Sponsored educational workshops
• Encouraged our neighbors to create their own food gardens and composts

Public Meeting on the future of the North Amherst Community Farm - May 7

Members of the North Amherst community are invited to a public meeting at the North Amherst Library on May 7 from 3:00pm-5:00pm to hear a recommendation regarding the future of the farm. Students in the UMass Permaculture Design class will present the results of their analysis and design recommendations. The NACF Board is interested in feedback on the recommendations from community members. Please join us!
