You know that thing where you walk into an appointment with your entire prepared explanation, just in case—the timeline, the symptom list, the notes you made at 2am—and you still end up starting from scratch because they've never heard of half of what you're describing?

And then they write one thing down slightly wrong and you have to decide whether correcting it is worth the emotional energy.

We don't do that here. We already know what hEDS is, we know what comes with it, and we were built specifically for this by someone who spent 42 years on the other side of that appointment table.

Comment INFO and we'll send you a full breakdown of what we do! It's not just diagnostics—it's everything that comes after, too. 💜

I've had hEDS for 42 years, and for most of them I did what you do when the medical system keeps telling you nothing is wrong: I believed them. I pushed harder and got weaker and sicker at the exact same time. (Sound familiar?)

Meeting Jason—who was my physical therapist at the time—was the first time I felt real, “pinch me” hope, because he looked at the whole picture instead of handing me an isolated diagnosis and a referral and bidding me farewell.

So we built the thing we wished had existed.

Connective Wellness is a diagnostic clinic, yes, but it's also what comes after the diagnosis—NPs, PTs, patient advocacy, health coaching, all hEDS-aware, all talking to each other, all working from the same picture of your body.

If you’re ready for the first step in your journey, comment DIAGNOSTICS. 💜

hEDS is not one thing, and I think that's part of why it took so many of us so long to get a name for it—because on the good days you almost convince yourself it's fine, and then the bad days remind you pretty clearly that it is not, and the whole thing is exhausting to explain to anyone who hasn't lived it.

Both days are real. The good ones don't mean you're better and the hard ones don't mean you're doing something wrong. 💜

There's a specific thing hEDS does on good days that doesn't get talked about enough—you feel okay, maybe even genuinely good, so you do normal things, and then your body sends the invoice about 48 hours later.

And if nobody has ever helped you map that pattern or change it, you just keep running the same loop for years wondering why you can't get ahead of it.

That's what Nicole does. She's our patient advocate, and her job is to find you the right providers in your area, get them up to speed on hEDS and your specific case, and keep things moving so you're not the one project-managing your own healthcare while also being sick.

Comment ADVOCATE and we'll send you more about how she works. 💜

Flares don't respond to willpower. (I tried. Really hard.)

They're also not a sign that you're doing something wrong.

We made a free guide for exactly this—what to do when your body is doing The Thing, written by people who have personally been doing The Thing for decades.

Comment FLARE GUIDE and we'll send it to you. 💜

38 years of "your labs are normal."
38 years of "it's probably anxiety."
38 years of leaving appointments feeling like maybe I really was just bad at being a person. (I was not. It was hEDS the whole time.)

If any of that sounds familiar, comment DIAGNOSTICS—we'll send you everything about our evaluation: what it covers, what to expect, and what comes after. 💜

When Jason and I first started building Connective Wellness, the plan was 100% virtual—no clinic, no physical space, just a good internet connection. (I have hEDS. I know what it's like to not be able to get somewhere on a bad body day.)

Then we opened our clinic in Amherst anyway, because it turned out people really needed a place to come. And we kept the virtual side because finding an hEDS-literate specialist anywhere near where you actually live is, for most people, not a realistic option.

So: nutrition, movement coaching, patient advocacy, somatic therapy—a lot of what we do, you can access from wherever you are.

Comment VIRTUAL and we'll send you the full list! 💜

The average diagnostic delay for hEDS is 22 years—which means most of us spent decades being told it was growing pains, anxiety, or just the cost of being a kid, and the people saying it genuinely believed they were right.

(Spoiler alert!) They weren't. And I will never stop being angry about that gap. (I’m trying REALLY hard here not to get on my soapbox, but you know where I’m at.)

We see children as young as 4 at Connective Wellness, because the earlier someone gets a name for what their body is doing, the less of their life gets spent wondering what's wrong with them.

If you comment DIAGNOSTICS and we'll DM you more info about our program 💜
