Today is an opportunity to give whatever you can to organizations working for equal opportunity and social justice. With each young man, each scholar whom we support over his four years of high school in Amherst, we ensure a better future for our community and our country by giving them A Better Chance – one each scholar so richly deserves.

The scholars, resident directors, board of directors, and everyone involved with the Amherst A Better Chance program are so very grateful for the support this community has provided now for over 50 years. Please continue to be a tailwind for these young men as they grow and strive to reach their goals, and donate now.

Last week, Frank attended the MSAMs Honors trip to Michigan. As a MSAMs scholar, students are given additional resources and opportunities to encourage college preparedness. Frank specifically enjoyed the 3D model and criminology department offered by Michigan State. Frank was selected as one of MSAMs’ eight scholars because of his accolades as Vice President of Student Council, public speaking experience, and commitment as a tri-sport athlete at Amherst.
