The Amherst RTC is announcing a new series on our page.

Much of our society silences and brushes off conservative authors and books. So the Amherst Republicans Town Committee will fill the void of other organizations failing to highlight so many incredible books.

The first book that we are recommending you check out is Stealth War by Brigadier General Spaulding. General Spaulding served in this position under both President Obama and Trump. This book highlights many of the tactics implemented by the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) to subvert America’s financial and political elite in order to gain political and economic power. Over the past 20 years China has replaced the United States as the primary trade partner with almost every nation in the entire world. The CCP is now becoming the top agricultural land owner and has acquired ownership of many key agricultural supply chains in the United States, like Smith Field.

This is definitely a great start in understanding the CCP and will really give a bigger picture of the role China plays on the world stage currently.

Major win for students at the Amherst regional school district, Umass, and Amherst College!

In landmark free speech decision, SCOTUS rules that schools may not police social media posts made off campus In an 8-1 vote, the Supreme Court ruled that the Mahanoy Area School District violated a student's First Amendment rights by punishing her for a profanity-laced Snapchat rant she made off campus.

Thank you Dash and the first responders at the APD. It is stories like these that show the true heroism our police officers exemplify everyday doing their job. We support our local police in keeping our communities great!

During the afternoon hours of Thursday, June 17th, Officer Clark and his K9 partner, “Dash” responded to the town of Shutesbury to assist with locating an elderly party with dementia who wandered from their residence and was last seen entering a thick wooded area. K9 Dash acquired the scent and tracked through dense forrest, locating the missing and endangered party within 30 minutes of arriving on scene.

We at Amherst PD are proud of how tirelessly our K9 teams train to continue to develop their tracking skills so that calls like these have positive outcomes.

We look forward to relaying information about events we are hosting and attending in the Amherst community. We look forward to working with the colleges and universities in the area in helping grow the conservative movement.
