Interesting in joining PERIODs E-Board? Apply for the 2026 calendar year! Elections will be held on 11/17 at 7p.m in Student Union 357.

Please come prepared to make a speech, if you cannot make this meeting but would like to run send a video of your wanted position and why you would be a good candidate to [email protected] (this will be played during elections).

For this year we will be electing for the 2026 calendar year. Those elected will hold their position for Spring 2026 and Fall 2026.

The following positions are open:
- Vice President/Secretary: Runs the meeting if the president is not in attendance. Sends reminders for meetings. Responsible for responding to emails and sending emails to General Body. Responsible for pilot program logistics/info.

- Treasurer: Maintains Period Finances. This includes putting in the Budget Request and working with Campus Pulse forms. Puts in Purchase Requests and manages Storefront. Requires Signature Responsibility. 

- Events Coordinators (2): (You may apply if you will be abroad for the fall, just let us know!) Plans and runs events, learns how to use Campus Pulse forms, room booking forms, etc. Coordinates with other RSOs and organizations for collabs. 

- Social Media Director: Runs Social media (Instagram). Attends meetings to take pictures and gather content. Manages social media direct messages and communicates inquiries with E-board. 

**All E-board members are responsible for attending council meetings, attending required trainings, helping out with meetings, and engaging with the PERIOD Community!

We are having a tie-dye fundraiser to support our future events. We will also be having an event later in the year where you will be able to tie-dye your shirt!

We will be having a general body meeting this Monday (10/20) at 5:15pm in the Student Union 357! During this meeting we will be talking about period and period product history, packing period kits for middle schoolers, and there will also be free PERIOD merch from Period Action Day.

PERIOD ACTION DAY is coming up!! Join us on October 6th, at 6 p.m in Bartlett 61 for a day of action. We will be talking about what’s happening in MA, writing our representatives, and collecting products to donate to the Amherst Survival Center. So please bring any menstrual products you would like to donate!

HUGE thank you to all who came out last night to our event with UMass Pre-Med Society! All of these period kits will be donated to the Amherst Survival Center for those in need.

Get to know our ‘25-‘26 Executive Board! We are super excited for all things Period this semester and can’t wait to continue to make change when it comes to menstrual poverty and stigma at UMass.

Access to period care is a form of su***de prevention. Inclusive conversations around menstruation is su***de prevention. Access to reproductive healthcare is su***de prevention! Thank you for putting together this amazing event and having us!
