Trinity United Methodist Church Blessings Box

We have moved our Blessing Box to a new location at our church. It is now on the south end of our building by the smaller parking lot. Makes it more convenient for those delivering items and those restocking the Blessing Box. Stop by and take a look! Thanks to Eileen and John for doing all the work.

Thank you to all who continue to support our Blessings Box. We serve many people from our community who have need of a little extra food and personal care supplies. We can always use shelf-stable milk, coffee, canned spaghetti sauce, pasta, canned meat, canned fruit, feminine hygiene products, hand soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, toilet paper, cereal, and more.

So many people are in need right now. I'm thankful for those helping to fill our blessing box. And sad about those who take more than they really need. Even though we fill it daily, we often find it completely empty and the doors left hanging open. Please be considerate and remember your neighbors are hungry, too!

Word has spread about our pantry and we are seeing more usage than earlier this year. Your continued support is appreciated and needed.

We can always use canned fruit, Chef-Boy-Ardee products, Knorr sides, jelly, salad dressings, ketchup and mustard.

We have plenty of mac & cheese, corn flakes, peanut butter, and fruit cocktail right now. Also, bags of dried beans and lentils do not move quickly. But we could use more feminine hygiene and incontinence products like Depends.

Thanks to everyone who has helped us to supply the needs of our neighbors.

Some items we need or go through especially quickly: jelly, pancake syrup, Knorr noodles or rice meals, saltine crackers, ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise, salad dressings, canned ravioli or beef-a-roni, boxed Spanish rice or other flavors of rice-a-roni. Please remember with warmer weather coming on we cannot accept fresh meat or produce that will spoil quickly. Also, no items put in containers at home such as cheese or sauce....only processed and packaged foods that stay fresh on the shelf. Thanks for your kind generosity!
