It was a scorcher yesterday in New England, but that didnβt stop me from firing up the Arteflame Classic 40 for a little mixed cook.

The trio of PS Seasoning - Spicy Pickle on the Chicken Thighs, Black Tie on the Steaks and The BBQ General on the veggies was just what the doctor ordered.

Fast reading, super accurate and I love the 270Β° swivel that makes it easier for lefties and getting into those awkward angles. Itβs also got a great display that was as easy to read in the bright sun during this cook, as it is when the sun goes down with the βIntelligent Backlightβ.

I was able to use it to make sure my proteins were safe and cooked to perfectionβ¦and gave it some patriotic style with the good olβ red, white and blue! πΊπΈ

I donβt usually cook filet mignon, but when I do I make sure theyβre beautifully marbled prime filets from β¦and finished with a bone marrow bath!
