Help us welcome Casey Greufe as our new Water Quality and Outreach Specialist! Casey conducted research on water quality and nutrient management at the University of Maryland, where he worked with farmers to reduce nutrient pollution in the Chesapeake Bay. He is passionate about building community through environmental stewardship and is especially excited to return to his home state to work on water quality issues that affect all Iowans.

Prairie Rivers and Pollinator Friendly Ames will host Good Neighbor Iowa for an online EcoChat! Jordan Holloway will explore the hidden dangers of pesticide use and provide simple, effective strategies for growing a lush, healthy yard without chemicals. The program empowers participants to protect children, pets, pollinators, and local water quality while still maintaining attractive lawns and landscapes. There will be an opportunity for questions after the chat!
