🫐 Blueberry Lemon Sparkler

Fruit of the Month: Blueberries

Looking for a refreshing summer drink? Try this easy Blueberry Lemon Sparkler.

Ingredients
½ cup fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Sparkling water
Ice
Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Directions
Add the blueberries, lemon juice, and honey to a glass.
Gently muddle the blueberries to release their juice.
Fill the glass with ice.
Top with sparkling water and stir.
Garnish with a lemon slice and fresh mint, if desired.

Fresh, fruity, and perfect for a warm summer day.

If you enjoy classic country music and dancing, mark your calendar for the Country Classics Band & Dance on Tuesday, August 11, from 6:30–9 p.m. at the Ames Moose Lodge, 644 W. 190th Street.

Spend the evening dancing to live music by Kenny Frette and the Country Classics Band on one of Ames' largest wooden dance floors. You can dance to every song or simply enjoy listening to the music, it's a relaxed evening filled with familiar tunes and good company.

When: August 11 | 6:30–9 p.m.
Where: Ames Moose Lodge
Admission is $10 per person.

Coffee, lemonade, and water are provided and guests are encouraged to bring a light snack to share during the break. Gather a few friends and join us for an evening of music, dancing, and community.

A new session of fitness classes will begin on August 24, and run through October 4. A variety of classes to choose from, for all levels!

Some mornings it's nice to have someone else cook you breakfast!

This morning, our kitchen is serving up breakfast quesadillas, omelets, fresh fruit, and hot coffee. Everything is made to order and served in a space that's just as inviting as the food.

Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 2:00 pm and all ages are welcome!

Our August Feature has officially arrived!

We had a little fun introducing this month's feature by practicing our wrapping skills on . Don't worry... she escaped just in time for lunch.

This month, we're serving up our Chicken Salad wrapped in a soft tortilla. It's served with your choice of sides and is available all month at The Bistro.
