Human Sciences Week is a week long event celebrating the largest College of Human Sciences in the nation at Iowa State University.
10/10/2019
Thursday, October 10th is pizza day! $5 will get you two slices of pizza, a cookie and a water! We will be in the LeBaron Foyer from 11:00-1:00 p.m. along with the KURE DJ! Join in on the MacKay Marriage Ring Art Walk from 12:00-12:30 p.m.
End your day with liquid nitrogen ice cream sponsored by Food Science and Human Nutrition in 206 MacKay from 5:00-6:30 p.m. followed by another self-defense class from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in 202 East Forker.

Chat with ISU police and learn about Green Dot. Join us bright and early Wednesday, October 9th from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in front of the library and we’ll treat you to FREE Dunkin Donuts.
Wednesday night activities include the multicultural dinner from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Joan Bice Underwood Tea Room (RSVP required) and a FREE self-defense class in 202 East Forker from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Hope to see you all there!

Kona Ice and puppies are coming to campus Tuesday, October 8th! Join us on the West Curtiss Lawn from 11:30- 1:00 p.m. Enjoy some free shaved ice while you pet puppies.

Monday, October 7th is AESHM Cherry Pie day! Join us in the Tea Room from 9:30-4:00 p.m. for mini cherry pies. Pies are $2 each. Hope to see you all there!
Monday night features guest speaker, Z Nicolazzo at 8:15pm in the Memorial Union Great Hall.

The theme of Human Sciences Week 2018 is our purpose and our objective. As social beings, humans must have CONNECTION. It is a fundamental need. The students, faculty, and staff in the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University understand this and strive to expand human connection in everything they do. Human Sciences Week contends that comPASSION is the most honest way to experience true human CONNECTION. Our celebration is an expression of that.
