FREE Summer 2026 meals for kids!

This summer, we’re cooking so you don’t have to! Through the USDA Summer Food Service Program, kids 18 and under can enjoy FREE breakfast and lunch all summer long! No registration, ID, or paperwork required. Just stop by one of the below locations, head inside, and fuel up for summer fun!

MEEKER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Dates: June 8, 2026 – July 2, 2026

Breakfast – Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am-8:30 am
Lunch – Monday through Thursday, 11:15 am-12:15 pm

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

Breakfast – Monday through Friday, 8 am-9 am

AMES PUBLIC LIBRARY

Congratulations to our 5th graders who will be moving on to Middle School in the fall! We are so proud of everything you have achieved at Fellows Elementary!

We will be celebrating our 5th graders tomorrow at 11:50 am with the Clapout. Parents and family are invited to attend on the 2-5 playground.

Fellows Families! Are you looking for another way to connect within our Fellows Community? City of Ames - City Government is hosting Neighborhood Connections! Wednesday, May 27th from 4-6, the city will be at Moore Memorial Park showcasing city vehicles including the Block Party Trailer along with many interactive items to help you better discover your community!

FELLOWS PARENTS: Your child will have the opportunity to purchase Kona Ice for our Field Day tomorrow, Friday May 22nd. Kona Ice will cost $5.00 which can be brought to your classroom teacher any day this week or you can prepay using the link below.

It is our intention that all students have the opportunity to participate in this event. A ParentSquare message was sent to all Fellows parents this morning that contains a link to the KONA Ice Support form which you can submit if you are unable to afford this event.
