Clifford Y. Stephens generously donated one million dollars all those years ago to construct our beautiful performing arts auditorium for one purpose: He felt passionately that a person’s first great need was the opportunity to get an education and believed all students should have an opportunity to develop an appreciation for the fine arts, which he considered necessary for adequate living.
Every year since, we honor his dream by bringing talented performing arts acts from around the world to the Ames area and sharing the love of the arts not only with ISU students but with the whole community.
If you feel we are doing a good job at this goal, PLEASE NOMINATE US for Best of Story County - Best Live Music/Concert Venue! Nominations are open through June 22, and you can nominate once PER DAY.
