About Tango:
Argentine tango is an exciting and empowering dance that ushers you into a new exotic world. Argentine Tango is rich with nuance and considered to be the most challenging and fulfilling of all partnered dances. Studying Argentine Tango can improve your balance, focus, sensitivity, and particularly your ability to work with and respond spontaneously to a partner. Ames hosts regular tango salons and milongas and is fortunate to enjoy the excellent teaching of tanguera Valerie Williams. About The Dance Class:
Have fun, be in shape, stay cool and sexy with more energy, less effort, meet new friends from all over the world, and without breaking your wallet. Beginners and advanced dancers alike learn from each other, concentrating on good dancing technique and learning vocabulary to enhance their dancing. Although Tango has been showcased and celebrated on the stage and screen for decades, you may be surprised at how the real experience of dancing the tango socially differs from what you've seen in live performance and on TV. Tango is FUN! Tango is SOCIAL! Tango is FRIENDS! Sometimes we don't want to stop the fun, so after Tango we go someplace together for more FUN !! We all went to the Mucky Duck Pub after Tango for dinner outside on the deck and had another great time. Sunday August 23, 2026.
