While doing renditions of these pups, I’m imagining the life they had, and how much love exists between them and those who knew them. Putting a heart in the eye - a small token of that love

I’ve stooped to cartooning…🤪

The pup in the truck was 3 months when she was hit by a car.
The boy, being held by owner, 7 weeks. Kinda glad to be able to portrait both, for same owner. I told him, “The only way to fix the hole in your heart is with another to love!” The next day he knocked on my door!😳🥰

After all these years, I finally figured out how to help participants achieve some success with the inks. 🤗

These were the results of a new twist on my Alcohol Inks class tonight. I let the class pick a cut out of an animal to trace around and add details with the inks. Some used brushes,supplied, some used a combination with the tips of the ink bottles. They all did quite well for their first, and had their own techniques. Check out that last one a 5th grader 😳
