We thank those who lost everything so that we may be free and enjoy days like today on the water. Ada Hayden was on 🔥. With well over a dozen over 15" and too many to count smaller it was indeed a good day.

is in the Books! Was another spectacular year for us! Everyone wrapped a tag around a bird. Katelyn started us off by showing off what a .410 with can do! She learned that the mornings that are the hardest to get up are usually the ones you are glad you did along with sometimes Mother Nature replies to dad's rants. Aubrey then followed up by showing off how she can stay super calm and collected while 6 bearded birds beat up a decoy at 15 steps! was on clean-up duty after Aubrey and lost track of what beard went with what bird and ended up shooting a jake 😂. The best part was I got to run calls and camera for all of that! When it was finally my turn I struggled. At one point, I had 4 toms at less than 3 yards with a bow and no blind. This proved to be too many eyes and too close. I then made a 100 yard belly crawl to only make an impatient move and ruin the chance. Dad and I spent 6 hours in the pouring rain and mud with 8 bearded birds to only have them stay just out of range and offer no shot. Then the great took me out to try and snap my bad luck but unfortunately, just a lot of laughs and lots of worn boot leather were had. Finally, on the last afternoon of the last day, with a never give up attitude, the decoys failed to bring the last tom of the year closer than 93 yards, as he was headed off into the distance, I made one last crawl and was able to seal the deal.

I love this time of year! Gobbles, sheds and gun powder. Just need to break the jerkbait out
