The JAM Spread is a row crop farming operation in Sumter County, Georgia owned and operated by the McNeill family. We have farmed this land since 1853.
The first generation of the family in this area traded their horses and saddles to the Creek Indians for farmland in what is now known as the New Era community. Over the past century and a half, we have grown and raised corn, cotton, peanuts, vegetables, wheat, cattle, hogs, horses, and lots of kids! Our focus today is peanuts, corn, and vegetables. It is our pleasure to share our lifestyle with you!

What a pleasure it was visiting our sweet friends in Chattanooga! We were so thrilled to see our peanut butter at their local food bank!

Our cover crops make a walk around Jamspread beautiful—even in the dead of winter.
Every field is planted with a winter cover crop to give nutrients back to the soil. Healthier soil = happier peanuts. And yes… you can taste the difference 🥜😋
If my bag gets lost, someone’s toast is about to have the best day ever!
