“He must become greater; I must become less.”

Love hearing how God moves! Love step studies! We grow so much and receive such peace! Best thing I’ve ever did is come to Celebrate Recovery!

My friend and fellow CR said I could share her thoughts on step study and share her name even though she never has to.

“God really worked in my heart and opened my eyes as I went through steps 1-3. And then came step 4, the dreaded moral inventory! After going through therapies, I have found that it takes quite an emotional toll reliving the pain from the past. Writing out all the hurtful things done to me and what I hurtful things I had done to others was, as I expected, an emotionally heavy exercise. And once again I was dreading reliving it all over AGAIN when it came time to share with my sponsor. What really surprised me is that when I shared with her my hurts and prayed over them, I didn’t have that same heart-heavy sensation, in fact, it was quite the opposite…I felt light, like a weight was lifted. I would have finished with my moral inventory months ago if I knew then what I know now that this is one more tool for my good to help me heal.” - Christina A.
