Look at all this love and creativity packed into the last Homemakers swap I attended.

There's something so special about receiving items made with care and intention. This is exactly why I love these swaps, real women pouring love into their homes and sharing it with each other.

Thank you to everyone who planned and brought their creations! My heart (and kitchen) is full.

We had a whole brisket sitting out in the garage fridge that we never got around to smoking.

So... I cut it into small chunks, pulled out my stand mixer with the meat grinder attachment, and turned that whole thing into fresh ground meat!

Now I’ve got a bunch of ground meat ready for burgers, tacos, chili, or whatever sounds good next week.

And if you’re making chili soon… my homemade chili mix shaker goes perfectly with fresh ground brisket 😉

DM me to grab one (or any of the other blends)!

One of my favorite zero-waste projects? Turning grapefruit peels and white vinegar into a powerful, all-natural cleaner!

I toss the fresh grapefruit peels into a jar (yeah, I made more juice 😅), cover them with vinegar, let it sit for a couple of weeks, then strain, dilute, and pour into spray bottles.

The result? A fresh-smelling, grease-cutting spray that’s perfect for counters, bathrooms, and glass, with zero harsh chemicals!

It smells amazing and works like a charm. Grapefruit gives it such a bright, uplifting scent.

Fresh batch of homemade Lemon Pepper is done! ✨

The other day I got my lemon peels dehydrated and pulverized, and mixed up my very first personal batch of lemon pepper seasoning for a healthier spice blend option.

Along with salt and fresh cracked black pepper, I added just a touch of onion and garlic powder to give it that well-rounded flavor you find in the big-name brands, but fresher and homemade! 🤌🏽 The smell coming from these organic dehydrated lemon peels is absolutely amazing, you can really tell the difference. 🍋

I’m adding it to my smothered pork chops tonight and can’t wait to taste the final result!

What a wonderful time at the Homemaker Swap today! ✨

I had the best time connecting with everyone and came home with such a lovely haul! The ladies brought so many thoughtful handmade goodies like fresh salsa, DIY totes, lip balm holder & wristlet keychain sets, car fresheners, candles, goat milk soap & lotion, linen spray, sprouts, balm, and the most delicious lemon cake (which I may have eaten before I could even snap a photo 😅).

My pantry and self-care shelf are feeling very spoiled!

I even gifted the host a shaker of my homemade chicken and beef bouillon as a thank you. 🫶🏼

I pulled out my recipe book and am making another personal batch of my homemade “Beef” Bouillon.✨️

I’m about to blend all the herbs and spices, including mushrooms I dehydrated that give it a beefy-umami flavor that tastes just like beef broth.

This bouillon will also be the base for the brown gravy mix I’m making next. Nothing beats having good homemade staples on the shelf.

Who wants to add a ½ pint jar of this healthy swap to their spice rack?

Drop a 🐮 below to be added to the pre-order list ‼️🙌🏼 (currently open)

Making my first batch of homemade lemon pepper seasoning! ✨

I’m almost out of my store-bought one, so I’m trying it from scratch. Right now I’m dehydrating fresh lemon peels, then I’ll pulverize them and blend with black pepper and salt.

Can’t wait to taste the final result, fresh, bright, and zesty! 🍋

Who else makes their own lemon pepper? Any tips for me?
